What to expect
Delhi to Leh Independence Ride is a fully supported group expedition from New Delhi to Leh, Ladakh, run by riders who have done this route many times over. You ride your own motorcycle or take one of ours; either way a backup vehicle follows the group with a mechanic, spares, fuel and your luggage. Night halts, permits and meals are arranged in advance so you can focus on the road. Expect long riding days, ghat sections and changeable weather. A valid motorcycle licence and some long-distance experience are required.

Twenty-one days on the road and the support crew never missed a beat. Backup vehicle always in sight, mechanic sorted two punctures and a clutch cable without fuss. Worth every rupee.
Rode pillion the whole way and was looked after brilliantly. Night halts were clean and booked in advance, and the road captain kept the group tight through the ghats.
