What to expect
Coorg Coffee Country Weekend Ride is a fully supported group expedition from Bengaluru to Madikeri, run by riders who have done this route many times over. You ride your own motorcycle or take one of ours; either way a backup vehicle follows the group with a mechanic, spares, fuel and your luggage. Night halts, permits and meals are arranged in advance so you can focus on the road. Beginner-friendly — a valid motorcycle licence is all you need.
What you'll do, step by step
Report at the Bengaluru start point for licence and permit checks, bike allotment, gear fitting and the ride briefing. Flag-off after breakfast.
Long highway stretches with the backup vehicle sweeping behind. Fuel stops roughly every 150 km, dhaba lunches, and night halts booked ahead.
A planned rest day to acclimatise, service the bikes and let the group recover before the hardest sections.
The section riders sign up for: weekend ride at its best, on the way to Madikeri.
Arrival at Madikeri, group photos, bike handover and certificates. Onward travel assistance provided.

Luggage went in the backup vehicle so we rode light, and it was waiting at every hotel. Small thing, but it changes the whole trip.
Crossed passes I'd only seen in videos. The crew checked tyre pressure and chain slack every morning before we rolled out. Properly professional outfit.
Good pace, honest briefing about what the hard days would be like, and no hidden costs — fuel and permits really were included as promised.
