What to expect
Assam Kaziranga Wildlife Weekend is a fully supported group expedition from Guwahati to Kaziranga, run by riders who have done this route many times over. You ride your own motorcycle or take one of ours; either way a backup vehicle follows the group with a mechanic, spares, fuel and your luggage. Night halts, permits and meals are arranged in advance so you can focus on the road. Beginner-friendly — a valid motorcycle licence is all you need.
What you'll do, step by step
Report at the Guwahati start point for licence and permit checks, bike allotment, gear fitting and the ride briefing. Flag-off after breakfast.
Long highway stretches with the backup vehicle sweeping behind. Fuel stops roughly every 150 km, dhaba lunches, and night halts booked ahead.
A planned rest day to acclimatise, service the bikes and let the group recover before the hardest sections.
The section riders sign up for: jungle & wildlife ride at its best, on the way to Kaziranga.
Arrival at Kaziranga, group photos, bike handover and certificates. Onward travel assistance provided.

Twenty-one days on the road and the support crew never missed a beat. Backup vehicle always in sight, mechanic sorted two punctures and a clutch cable without fuss. Worth every rupee.
Rode pillion the whole way and was looked after brilliantly. Night halts were clean and booked in advance, and the road captain kept the group tight through the ghats.
Took a rental Himalayan 450 rather than shipping my own bike — perfect condition, serviced before flag-off. Permits were all arranged, we just rode.
